You can extend an opportunity advert by following the steps below:
Go to Recruitment, then Opportunities.
Find the opportunity and click Extend.
Select an extension duration (for example, 3 months).
Click Yes, extend.
Alternatively, this can also be done by doing the following:
Go to Recruitment, then Opportunities.
Find the opportunity.
Scroll down to the Advert section.
Click Edit, then click in the End Date field.
Select the preferred date (maximum 6 months from today).
📌 Note: If an opportunity advert has expired there is a 30-day grace period where the advert can still be extended. After this point the opportunity is locked down and to revive the opportunity it must be duplicated.
Duplicate an opportunity
Go to Recruitment, then Opportunities.
Find the opportunity and click Duplicate.
Click Yes, duplicate.
Edit the opportunity details, then publish.
An opportunity can only be extended by up to six months from the current date.
