Within Assemble we use Amazon Web Service's SES function, which allows us to make sure that the service isn't being used to deliver malicious, unsolicited, or low-quality email.
You may see error messages related to user email addresses such as:
This address reported Assemble emails as spam and it has been disabled until updated.
Emails to this address have bounced and it has been disabled until updated.
We're having some difficulties contacting this email address at the moment, emails may not be getting through. (Soft bounces)
β
When the given messages are displayed, we would recommend that a new email address is added.
Initial troubleshooting
In most cases there will have been a temporary external issue or users have accidentally marked an email from Assemble as junk/spam and the user may wish to retain their existing email address.
In this situation, we recommend the following steps:
The user will need to double-check their junk/ spam folders and mark any emails from [email protected] as not junk/spam.
The user can add [email protected] to their safe senders list within their email client.
Add an additional address
Once the above have been checked an additional address can be added by following the steps below:
Navigate to the user record and click the Contacts tab.
Next to their email address, click Edit.
Alter the existing email address and click Save & Close.
Click Edit, then Add another email address.
Enter the correct email address and click Make primary.
Click Remove next to the redundant email address.
Click Save & Close.
The flag should now be removed from the user record and they should receive emails again.
